Enter the world of Video Game Development, where students build amazing games. Students create multi-level games and learn to use programming concepts such as local and global variables, and the basics of object-oriented programming. Game Lovers and Creators Unite with Unity® 3D & optional VR! In this more advanced class at CodeREV, students learn to create their own 3D first person game that works in Virtual Reality using this incredible professional software. Students learn intro C# (C-sharp), a popular coding language, as they code an amazing 3D maze filled multi-level game with trap doors and AI enemies (non-violent), and fun ways to ward them off while navigating to the safe zone in their 3D world! Once complete, students are ready to build on the coding fundamentals they’ve learned, and add more levels, characters, and amazing designs to their game!

Students create their own unique websites from the ground up, using html, CSS, and JavaScript. They can design their website about whatever interests them: a hobby, a business, a social impact cause, or their friends and family. Point is, they learn to code something useful and interesting and have fun in the process. They also gain the skills of learning to think like a developer as they design and plan their site based on user interaction. They even get to host their site using a CMS at the end of the class, and can take their site home to continue working on it on their own, and show off to friends and family! Advanced students can even make their own HTML5 game using Canvas!
