Hello there, my name is Kevin! Next fall, I will be a second year computer game science student at UC Irvine. Although this is my first time having a formal teaching position, I have had some experience with teaching. In my high school writing club, I used to lecture on how one can improve their writing skills. I have also helped several of my peers with their calculus homework. In high school though, I never really considered teaching. What changed my mind was learning about how games can be applied to education throughout my courses during my first year; thus, I looked into teaching jobs. Don't worry, I'm not dry and boring as I may sound. I do crack jokes and play games. I look forward to teaching the students this summer and perhaps giving them advice on how they can start preparing for a career in the games industry.
